We love this amazing mask from Slovakia! And even more so what our database has to say about it:
‘Turon’ is a mask representing the head of the wild bull (Polish ‘tur’), embodying the dark forces of nature. In the first weeks of the year boys in funny disguises roam the neighbourhood with it, romping and bantering.

Morning! This amazing mask is from Guerrero, Mexico. It’s a big cat, probably a jaguar. The mask is made from wood and painted, with tufts of hair attached. The teeth look like they come from a pig!

These two amazingly bizarre masks are from Manaus, Brazil. They are made from tortoise shells, which have been decorated with lots of other animal remains including bones, teeth, and even an armadillo tail!
